@LukeAlmighty Or you can say, "screw both of them" and install a P2P search engine instead.
If anyone is down to help with doing some crude and quick prototype art for either free or a super low cost, or generating some, that would be real nice. Just throwing it out there. Let me know if you want more details for the game.
Then there's the fucking music... I have no drive to work on that whatsoever lately which sucks. I got like 5 tracks into it really quickly and then just died.
I've been itching to start working on my new game within rpg maker again, but I've been putting it off due to not having the assets. I don't want to get stuck in the same situation I was in with God's Disdain where I couldn't pivot away from the default graphics in the end because I incorporated them in the design too much. I might try using AI to drum up some placeholder assets or do some really crude drawings in the meantime.
US, Israel, Iran, BRICS, isolationism
@beardalaxy What really angers me about it is the whole binary-thinking regarding the situation.
If I don't support US/Israel/NATO then I must be pro-Iran or BRICS and vise versa. Hell, I even see many libertarians who are supposed to be isolationists when it comes to situations like this share this mentality.
I really wish we can go back to having free-trade with all while entangling alliances with none. I'm tired of the mentality of picking sides, especially when you realize that there are groups who benefit from both sides of every conflict.

“In the case of Colorado’s and California’s bills, effectiveness is lost. In the case of New York’s bill, liberty is lost.”
Carl Richell, System76 Founder and CEO, urges New York to reject S8102A OS-level age verification.

@Forestofenchantment If you've read "Albert Pike and the Three World Wars", you would know that this was all planned.
It turns out that Brazil and the state of New York are passing even worse OS-level age verification laws as they require actual ID verification (the California law only requires a DoB input). The worst part is that the Brazilian law will be in effect in less than 13 days.
@beardalaxy @PurpCat I think it could eventually lead to ID scanning, but enforcing that would be difficult unless OSes move more into the cloud.
@beardalaxy @bonkmaykr My favorite story is from the lead designer of Kid Icarus. He literally said "if there are no bugs in it, it's finished".
@bonkmaykr I don't think there is a single gamedev out there that releases something that they are 100% satisfied with. Even Shigeru Miyamoto thinks that Super Mario World, his favorite Mario game he's worked on, was incomplete.
