Thanks to Moon, we on SPC now have the ability to display chess boards using custom emojis, as follows:

I did not, however, design these pieces for use with standard chess. I did make accomodations for standard chess: these pieces certainly can be used for standard chess. However, they were designed primarily for a medieval persian variant of shatranj (predecessor of chess) which uses a much larger 11x10 board, and which has a number of extra pieces. All of the emoji names for these pieces start with “:shatranj_”

@augustus It blows my mind how only a decade ago we had people openly protesting gay marriage to now where it's taboo to hint that you find gays disgusting, even among right-wing Christians. The simps against emulations are really getting on my nerves. If it wasn't for emulation and piracy you couldn't play 99.99% of games made in the past, they simply ain't being rereleased. There would be no speedrunning community, no twitch, no fucking anything

I had it filtering for branch "master" but fucking github now calls the branch "main" on all new projects.
