Wasting time

There are so many things in media that I'd like to consume, but I keep spending my free time on browsing the internet, reading articles and board threads.

It is so very hard to stop and when I manage to get through it, I often wonder where my time went. Maybe it will be somehow useful, but I know that I'd be a lot happier just playing a game or watching an anime, which I do rarely in comparison.

Except people who say trust the science do not mean trust the scientist

They mean trust the news article written by a politically charged activist who maybe red a research paper that was released only because a politically charged company paid for a one-sided research by a scientist, who knew he won't get paid again, if he finds the opposite result...

So yeah.... I don't trust the science.

There is no such thing as "trusting the science." Rather, it is not a what but a who we place our trust in. Anyone who says "trust the science" actually means "trust the scientists," whether they know it or not.

And scientists are people like anyone else. Capable of biases, corruption, incompetence, and being incorrect. But the science worshipers do not understand this, they see "the science" as infallible.

both things can be true:

the 2020 election was stolen

and

Trump is a big fat orange retard who betrayed the people who voted for him

We need to stop worrying about cases and only focus on hospitalizations. I’m willing to bet this kid isn’t really showing any symptoms. The pandemic has ended for all intents and purposes if we stop using outdated metrics like case counts. We protected the old and vulnerable the best we could with the mystery shot time to move on ,and the way to do that is by focusing on metrics that matter like hospitalization rates and death rates…

@Jdogg247 It wasn't an insurrection, it was a Boomer LARP that was pretty damn tame compared to the rioting done by Burn, Loot, Murder.

@AbolishPregnancy @LukeAlmighty @matana @autu886234 A "yes" is a "yes" no matter how much you want to convince yourself otherwise

People married their lgs off in the past because they knew they'd be happy, and they had a much saner and experienced view of it than you

That is because rules are not about:
Limiting spread
Saving lives
Getting people in good phisical shape

They are only about buying votes. Sadly, even the crazy restrictions were only to virtue signal go grandmas just how much do politicians care about them...

@Jdogg247 Bill Gates looked disgusting - nipples protruding - in his blue shirt. Very very disrespectful.
