Whereas God commanded man to "Go, be fertile and multiply," the dominant culture tells us to go be sterile and lonely, shriveling up in our pods, that we might die surrounded by nothing but Funko Pops.

I never got why conservatives were so quick to give up culture rather than trying to engage and shape it for so much of the 20th century. Given the amount of conservative authors and artists of the pulp era (and even later sci-fi/fantasy authors like Tolkien, Heinlein, and Herbert), it almost feels like it's an entirely novel phenomenon rather than something that's the norm. And on some level self-imposed. Thankfully that does seem to be changing.
