@prouddegenerate @LukeAlmighty this isn't talked about much but Kojima really didn't do a whole lot of writing for mgs compared to the co-writers. He also had literally nothing to do with mgr, which is imo the best game in the series even though it's a spin-off.

You can really see how apparent it is that his writing is bullshit with death stranding and I'm honestly kind of glad silent hills didn't end up happening.

It's a similar problem as Neil Druckmann (Naughty Dog) only making good/decent stories when paired with Bruce Straley as a director. Kojima needs someone like Fukushima. A lot of highly creative (and/or egotistical) people need a strong backbone or they let personal ambitions get the better of them and it's only the people who feed into that ego that end up actually liking the end product.

It will certainly lessen the amount of unwanted children, if abortion is not a thing and having unwanted children is frowned upon. It's not a 100% fix, but I don't think there is such a thing. More importantly; the lack of a 100% fix doesn't mean "welp, just kill 'em then".
