thankfully it doesn't seem like the cd drive, ram, or storage were actually affected in any way. so at least i can plop the drives in my pc.

@xianc78 @LukeAlmighty my mom only vaccinated all of us with the absolutely required ones for us to go to public school. the pediatrician actually got mad at her for not doing everything apparently. we never really got flu shots but i remember the one year we did, ALL of us got the flu and were basically on the floor in the living room in a big blanket pile for the next few days. it was miserable.

okay fan fiction can be pretty cringe inducing.

but i think it's a pretty good way for children and teens to learn how to write stories.

they can take a franchise that they already know and love every facet of and write an original story on top of it.

in elementary school and some of middle school i wrote what was essentially a massive zelda fan fiction, just with different names for characters and places so there wouldn't be any infringerinos. seriously, i basically wrote an entire novel and i still have those journals i wrote it in which is kind of fun to look back on. there's a good 300 pages worth of writing there.

doing that actually helped me get into the groove of writing stuff and ignited my passion for it. i think it is something that should be encouraged.

@LukeAlmighty the testing that was done on it and why people say it was able to come out so fast is that there have been other types of coronavirus in the past, sometimes being the common flu. so they had something to build on, but even then the flu vaccines themselves have like a 50% efficacy all the time and some people still get sick because they get the flu shot (i know i have).

CryZENx, the Unreal Engine "Nintendo hire this man" guy, has actually put a shit ton of work into that Ocarina of Time remake. It's currently fully playable all the way through meeting Zelda.

I don't think the covid vax was made to kill people on purpose for population control or anything like that. That's an extremely normie take that makes other more reasonable theories about it sound more whack than they really are.

I just think that the people who created and pushed for the vax don't actually care about human life/happiness and care far more about turning a profit and controlling the narrative/market. It's never about the people, it's always about the money. If you think about it from that perspective, then purposefully killing people doesn't make as much sense as just not giving a fuck what happens to them.

It's funny that lefties will criticize capitalism to no end but then fall into its trap time and time and time again. All that's needed is a little bit of social conditioning.
