@Pawlicker @nordtrack i have vitiligo and every fucking time i see "representation" of it somewhere i cringe. i don't want "representation," i wanna' grill. i have heard young people say they wish they had vitiligo so that they could look different, and it's because it's pushed into everyone's faces as some positive thing. YOU DO NOT WISH YOU HAD AN AUTOIMMUNE DISORDER. you want attention, and you aren't given any of it because society is fucking vapid.
@nordtrack I try to be supportive when I can because I know it must be hell and I know a lot of their parents are emotionally vacant at best. Being an adult that can still relate to them while giving them good advice helps. Because there are sure as shit adults that will give them bad advice for their own gain...
@Ronnie21093 @hellhammer666 pso2 classic is more or less a husk right now. They still update it from time to time but it's mainly there still for people to scrape together star gems. I think it's only a matter of time before they cut it completely. At that point, a private server can be pursued more seriously.
I do want to try out blue burst's private server at some point (I think it's called epinea?) because I did really enjoy playing PSO local co-op. Just don't have a whole lot of time to dedicate to it. I think I'd only go for it if I had a couple friends playing it with me.
I'm noticing a lot of high schoolers graduating early these days. When I was there I think maybe 1 or 2 people in my graduating class did. Now it seems like every other teenager I talk to is doing it. I think even they're fed up with the public school system. If you can't have fun while you're in high school like the old days and everything you learn is full of shit why bother sticking around? Like I keep saying, a lot of them are smarter than we give them credit for.
@Ronnie21093 @hellhammer666 someone has made one, and even for NGS, but it doesn't have quest functionality yet and they don't want to push super hard for it because the game is still technically running officially and they're worried sega will axe it before it can ever get off the ground.
@Ronnie21093 @hellhammer666 it just sucks we live in a time where you have to accept you're supporting scummy behavior if you still want to play a game.

@Mr_NutterButter God specifically told them not to eat the fruit. Eve was tempted into doing it, and then tempted Adam into doing it as well. She's not evil, she's human, as well as Adam. That's the main takeaway for me.
Even the people who had direct connection still disobeyed God and He knew they would, in fact it was meant to happen eventually. We can go through suffering quite easily, but people in paradise cannot. Suffering is part of the human condition. When Adam and Eve lost immortality, they gained humanity, which is arguably more important.
I'm assuming that most of the people who do these portrayals like this are either not Christian or they have absorbed ideas from their surrounding culture and applied it to Eve haphazardly.
@matrix if you're a libertarian, you must agree 100% with every other libertarian, otherwise you aren't a libertarian.
@LukeAlmighty i'm not even really thinking about mobile games much. i barely think about them as games at all. i'm talking about how insanely popular games in general have become and how many, for lack of a better term, normies play them.
@LukeAlmighty this sounds weird but i kind of don't give a fuck about the gaming economy if it means we're going to keep getting shittier and shittier games to please the masses. the fact that $10, $15, $20 games can come out and still be wildly successful with not nearly as large of a team, budget, or development time frame means that the "gaming economy" is completely broken and the AAA devs are out of their minds.
@LukeAlmighty it was maybe supposed to be an analog clock, i hope that was explained somewhere else on the paper lol
@LukeAlmighty >games are no longer made for people like you
ain't that the damn truth. that's why most of the time i find something i really like it's either in a mod, an indie game with a very specific target audience, or a game that nobody else seems to like.
well, modern day developers even say this out loud. they do not make games for people like me anymore because it isn't profitable. it is far more profitable to give slop to general audiences who will eat it up like livestock.
or, if a game is actually good, the company is shit. i know i really shouldn't but my dumb ass is still going to buy the new princess peach game coming out because it genuinely looks like a lot of fun, even though nintendo is a shitty company. capcom, sega, and bamco are participating in identity politics bullshit that harms the games and means they will age extremely poorly and only be trendy with an audience that shouldn't be their target demographic for a short period of time. do you really think any real persona fan is going to think of the p3 remake when they go to replay the game?
like, even if these games end up being good overall, the people producing them and sometimes even the people developing them seem like they give no shits about the legacy of the games and have no interest in making something objectively good. they are trend chasers at best and malicious at worst.
@rosey drag me to hell was weird. decent movie i suppose but it didn't really invoke any feeling in me at all.
