@LittleTom @doonxib @Shadowman311 I hate that weird soft "realistic" look every game has now. Ugly models aside, the lighting and gfx pipeline don't help. Weird dof on stuff. Bad AA options (other than like DLAA). using dithering instead of transparency and then the game still runs like ass anyway. I miss when games had sharp and stylized graphics and you dealt with the jaggies by cranking the resolution or using msaa, not this weird blurring shit.

another thing i like about fedi, at least for now, is that people and interactions here are actually real. at least in this circle. you had the weird soleana bots or whatever that cropped up a little while ago but that was the only notable time i think a bunch of weird bots have popped up on fedi, at least as long as i've been here.

but for normies, the internet is well on its way to becoming dead. might be for the best.

@white_male @Shlomo my friend who used to live with me has a cat who would always come booking it to the door whenever any of us were about to walk in. when someone would leave she'd sulk around and cry until someone came to pet her again. i miss that cat.
