@xianc78 idk if that matters much, as the spam is insane. It got so bad recently that some shit was trending and I had to ban about a dozen hashtags. This right after they announced they were going to start cracking down more. I really think that, unless they can put some other registration screening in place, or they have at least one person just meticulously refreshing and banning at all times, they'll need to lock regs and only accept legitimate accounts through a form.

Played another few hours of FF16 tonight. 21 hours in and I'm not even halfway done yet xD about 1/3 according to HLTB since I'm going for all the side quests and such. Maybe not necessarily all achievements since I'll be fine playing the game just once for now, but yeah I'm definitely wanting to experience all the game can give me in one go.

Combat is definitely easy. I haven't game overed once. It's always funny to hear Clive panting after a fight when I didn't even take damage xD there are mods out there to amp up the combat but I worry that I'll randomly hit a boss that got buffed way too much and have to fiddle around with uninstalling it. I'd rather just keep playing. I'm sure part of the easy combat difficulty is how I have been going out of my way to kill everything, do every side quest, and I've got some EXP boosting items as well. I'm no slouch at action games either so the dodging/parry mechanics have made it stupidly easy at times.

I'm really enthralled by the characters though, and the story is intriguing. Not perfect, but pretty good. The characters definitely carry it.

@LittleTom the original game takes about 8-10 hours to beat and this one is nearly 20.

rivals of aether 2 demo coming during steam next fest. check it out, it's probably the best platform fighter in terms of gameplay and the characters are unique. i know it's easy to write off as "that furry smash clone" but it really is a super fun game.
