@EdBoatConnoisseur @lain I have never been a huge card game guy but I feel like the card games that have been around that long have had so much shit added to them that they are entirely different games at this point. Like I wonder if there are people who do Pokémon tournaments where you can only use cards up to the year 2005 or something. Kind of similar to how people still play smash melee or soul calibur 2.

Look I'm all for being respectful at the table and not making things weird, but if I ever have a player ask for some shit like that I'm just kicking them out full stop. Massive red flag and I don't want to have to sanitize shit and walk on eggshells just so one player who is extremely mentally unwell can be happy.
