@Mr_NutterButter the game was fucked for me when I just heard the title. Anyone who conceived Marathon in the beginning is no longer at Bungie. Using the title is a cheap marketing strategy for them.

@Mr_NutterButter I got a ridiculous amount of points from it too lol it was vicious. We were playing a special edition with cards that could be used as power ups so I think it gave me like 60 points somehow.

@Mr_NutterButter well yes, because religion is not an immutable characteristic. You can always change what you believe, and you can change how you practice. You do still run into the issue though where there are like a shit ton of different sects and they all believe slightly different things. I would say it is in good form to not immediately jump to conclusions based on someone's beliefs (or your predefined notion of their beliefs) but rather their actions.

This isn't really a gacha for liberals either, because they do it all the time too, mostly with Christianity.

@Mr_NutterButter also makes me think of scrabble, the last time I played that with someone other than my mom I beat the guy in second place by 150 points and the guy in third crashed out because I played "ax" which he didn't think was a word and lost the challenge

@Mr_NutterButter I think it's that Mario Party is usually seen as a game of luck, not of skill. So when one guy always gets lucky enough to win it feels worse than a guy being better at the game.

I think the last time i played with any of them was a few years ago and I won by like 7 stars lol.
