i'm on the grind to 3 star every cup in mario kart world. i've got a few of them already, but it definitely is a mix of getting lucky and just not making any mistakes whatsoever.

I think Mario Kart World's Rainbow Road is my favorite iteration of the track. It's really fun to race on and it looks absolutely amazing too. It doesn't have quite the same SOVL that 64 RR does, but it definitely exudes creativity and has a lot of series callbacks integrated in a very seamless way.

All of these are flying sections but they give you the coolest shots, there is plenty of driving too.

@Alex @Hephaestic nah she didn't explain. She just said she was thinking about it and didn't see a future with me. Then she said we could still be friends or just stop talking and I chose the latter. If I'm friends with a girl and then we start dating that's fine, but when it's the other way around it just feels really cheap/fake to me. So, that's that.

If I had to guess though, it's either because of some immutable characteristic or the most miniscule, retarded thing. Either way it's not something that me knowing would help me in the future. I smelled nice, I dressed nice, I matched the vibe. it was a good date, it really was. So that would be my guess. Alternatively, there were other people she was dating and she just liked one of them more or something. Idk but obviously there isn't anything I can do about it.

@Hephaestic me too. I don't really get how you can think about a first date for a day and then decide there's no potential whatsoever in it. I'm not lying when I say it went really well, I've been on plenty of bad dates and this was not one of them. Especially like... So many shared interests, goals, experiences, and I traveled for 5 hours and paid quite a bit of money just for her. I don't understand. If I can put everything I've got behind something that seems ideal and it's still not good enough why am I even trying at this point?

I would have understood more if it was like, the third date or something. At that point you've had time to feel each other out a lot more and decide if it's worth pursuing or not. But the first date? And after all that? It really sucks. I genuinely don't know what more I can do
