@irie I've got my windows install tweaked a lot to remove telemetry and all the annoying shit, but if I couldn't do that for some reason I would probably be using mint too, it's really good. Just make sure you really keep up on updates because I've had issues with not updating for too long and it'll skip important shit and brick itself. That's happened twice now.

I kind of have bad luck with Linux, tons of shit I either have to fix or that just flat out doesn't work and nobody seems to know why.

@LittleTom I had a friend that went to Evo 2015 and said it was absolutely dreadful. The smell and the amount of people crammed in to the event made him stay in his hotel room for most of the weekend.

@Iffine @Ronnie21093 teamspeak just had a new big update that brings it a bit more to modern times but it isn't "discord but not discord" it's its own thing entirely. You need to self host servers but you can join the main server and make groups. It's kind of wacky.

Also given how big of an issue child abuse is with discord and Minecraft I honestly can't blame someone wanting to cover the fuck out of their ass and require ID. Not that I agree with doing that but fuck man there are a lot of evil people out there. It really should fall on parents to watch their kids, but when parents aren't doing shit and haven't done shit forever, and with all this stuff becoming more common... Wtf do you do? Just say "oh man, thousands of kids getting groomed, that sucks, good thing I can still download my Minecraft sex mod?" using protecting children as an excuse to enact digital censorship and shit is extremely effective because it's a problem and if the problem isn't fixed then of course someone else is going to step in to fix it and you won't like how they do it.
