@freddie_the_fed @rlier23 @sjw apparently nintendo has been increasing everyone's wages by 10% for the past few months so that's nice. iwata and miyamoto cut their own salaries to continue paying their workers the same rate when the wii u flopped.

they are really nice to their workers in order to entice them to stay and make good products for them. recognizing gay relationships as qualitative for benefits is part of that. but the worry is that this will make more gay people flock to nintendo to work there and they'll be sliding in propaganda.
