Yeah, the balance mechanic is basically zombies take more hits if you have more ammo and if you haven't taken damage or died it keeps scaling up. Iirc speed runners will take intentional deaths at points to make the game easier.

@hellhammer666 a good chunk of my IRL friends are excited for it but they NEVER give a shit or even notice this kind of stuff. even when i tell them they're just not bothered by it at all.
