@dielan there's some incredible musical variety on display here. i keep getting surprised with each song.

@Ducking i guess if you value the validation of high-status people more than anything else it makes sense.

i've taken the stance for the better part of the last decade that the people i should value should also be the ones who value me, not people that i should have to try to achieve some "higher moral goal" or whatever to get them to value me more, or put in way more work than they are. i think that's actual maturity because you aren't letting yourself be manipulated.

maybe i've just had more people in my life try to do that to me and i was exposed to it more than other people were so i ended up having a strong enough will to end up being disturbed by it.

@Ducking tis what sparked it but i was also talking about other people i know personally with friends earlier today, just everyone who does this shit in general is fake as fuck.

coming from someone who used to BE fake as fuck. i can't stand it.

@Mr_NutterButter shit going from "as it was, so shall it be" to "as it is, so it was"

@Mr_NutterButter that's a fucking great analogy lol. it hurts, but it's ultimately good for you :pepelol:

"growing up" and "maturing" in order to fit in with greater society is a fucking sham that turns you into a soulless, dickless, hopeless, defenseless piece of shit, sometimes literally in this day and age

i'd sooner rip open my butthole and put a pirranha in there than change who i am to fit in with fake faggots

@deprecated_ii I only watched the actual SAO arc so it pretty much ends with kirito waking up and going to find asuna for me. I'm okay with that.

@MischievousTomato @rlier23 @coolboymew his wife probably wants black babies and doesn't want any mistakes leading to a white one

@LukeAlmighty @matrix I never watched the show I just know that a fuck ton of people who watched it were fucking gay
