@mangeurdenuage it does, but just barely. At the very end, zelda uses it to vanquish calamity ganon. AFAIK it is unknown how she got it or why she had to wait so long to use it, but my theory is that link showing up and exuding enough courage to activate that part of the triforce is what made it possible.

I haven't beaten TotK yet so I'm not sure if it is involved in that game at all. Nobody tell me xD so far it hasn't been but it could be the same as in botw where it's only used at the very end.

I do miss the games being more reliant on the triforce.

The stupid shit comes from other sources, like club/rave culture. Not everybody enjoys it but I think it's definitely a social issue in most cases. People are afraid they are gonna look stupid but in reality nobody cares, and if they do then fuck em.
