@Mr_NutterButter other than technology getting better, I'd say the only real MAJOR change is in social politics... Which happened REALLY quick. In 2010 most people wouldn't give a shit if you called something gay or said fag. Popular rap music even had that kind of stuff in it. Jump to 2014/2015 and none of that is okay whatsoever and girls in games can't be pretty anymore. Jump to 2018 and trannies start becoming popular. Jump to now and, well... Let's just say shit's fucked.

I finally got my Vermis shipment! Been a little busy but I think on Wednesday I'll sit down and read through it. I skimmed through a bit and it's already looking pretty sick.

Man I went bowling today (didn't do too bad but I still got last place! Steep competition!) and fucked up my strummin arm. Hopefully music tomorrow doesn't hurt too bad xD I'll pop an ibuprofen worst case. Got the massage gun blasting rn.

@SpurgAnon what's your definition of "artificial" in this case, though? like, how far does it go before it becomes artificial? is growing plants in test tubes after combing through years of scientific research artificial, even though after the science was solidified it's now possible to just grow them in a garden in the right conditions? or are you talking more about like, using artificial sweeteners and such?

i think it's bad when it's done to edge out profits when doing so is unnecessary, but that's unrelated to the actual science of it all and more related to scummy business practices.

@SpurgAnon i personally don't think much is wrong with it. i think it's an interesting science. i don't really know to what extent people are like, injecting seeds with alternate DNA sequences or something like that though xD most of it seems to just be cross-pollination done over and over again to get the perfect blend someone is looking for. the cotton candy grapes, for instance. it's just like a combination of different grapes to get a flavor that tastes like cotton candy, done by hand originally.

people look at that and see some abomination of nature or something, but really it's just the progression of agricultural science. it's not like, evil shit lol.

it might even become necessary at some point for some things, who knows. there are some plants that might go extinct, or lose nutritional value, or something along those lines that people might want to preserve and the only way to do that is through GMO stuff.

@xianc78 that's a different kind of saturation, i think. there's so much of very similar stuff that i don't bother to watch movies anymore unless they actually look different and unique. i had this problem with horror movies a long time ago too.

i think the video game crash was mainly due to the price of entry in addition to zero quality control. saturation was a part of it too, but it was saturation of low quality shit that cost way too much.

whatever live action remake of a disney movie comes out 5 years from now will probably end up in a landfill in the desert xD

my mom accidentally had 2 weighted blankets ship to her in the mail so she gave me one of them. it's nice, but i feel literally no difference xD lights off, every single possible light source in my room unplugged or taped over, i've tried utter silence and white noise.

about the only thing i've noticed that consistently helps me sleep is fucking jimi hendrix lol.
