@Ronnie21093 HERE WE ARE GOING FAR TO SAVE ALLLLL THAT WE LOVE IF WE GIVE WHAT WE GOT WE CAN MAKE IT THROUUUUGH

@Fiddle @Kagekokoro you've gotta find a coffee shop with abominations working.

i've worked on stuff at coffee shops before but i find it much easier to focus at the library.

far, far less people would go buy a new star fox game rather than an f-zero game. the fans of the series are pretty fractured and the game itself is way less popular. with f-zero being shitted into a 99 game my hopes for anything star fox related that's actually good aren't even in the gutter, they're in the sewers being guarded by pennywise.

@RyokoPilled @rasterman @Torgo what they really should have done is remade silent hill 1 if they wanted to do a remake of anything. that game could get an overhaul completely and still make sense. i think they just went for what could make them the most money, not what game really needed a remake.

it's the fundamental problem with trying to "remake" something like SH2. it was a product of its time and the people who made it. you can't remake that. trying to do that undermines everything about the experience, it was already perfect, it doesn't need a remake.

@Mr_NutterButter there are 73,786,976,294,838,210,000 possible youtube URLs as it currently works. that's not what i'm talking about. i'm talking about extra strings being added to the end of the typical URL.

has anyone else noticed that youtube URLs are getting a little fucky lately? like they've got these massive strings tagged on to the end of them, probably for tracking purposes.

joel's incredible musical ability mixed with shitty memes is a wild contrast

@Torgo @rasterman @luithe i'd say the lighthouse counts. i still haven't seen the whole movie, just some scenes of it, but it seems like a descent into madness. i know the story it was based on and it's definitely horrifying.

@Torgo @rasterman yeah, the horror in an RE game for instance is a bit more thrilling, whereas in silent hill it's more chilling.

@luithe @rasterman @Torgo i'm honestly super out of the loop when it comes to movies in general these days, i haven't seen a horror movie since that IT remake and i thought it was stupid

@Torgo @rasterman i'm most upset about the "camera modernization." anyone who has played sh2 knows that the controls and camera are not bad at all, they've just played resident evil 1 and assume every game with fixed camera angles plays exactly like that.

the fixed camera angles are a way to control the mood and what the player is able to see. imagine you're watching a horror movie and the whole time the camera is hovering behind the main character. it just doesn't work as well as purposefully made shots.

they'll inevitably have to change stuff to make the new camera work, and idk man i feel like they're just going to copy-paste RE2 remake's style even though RE is a completely different game.

@coolboymew i'm no longer a fan of sakimichan this is fucking vile :kannagun:

@mkultra it would be a damn shame if some girls tried to make me less racist
