@rasterman @Torgo this is probably fake, but if not it would probably be for silent hill 2 which is getting a remake.

i'm already assuming that there will be something like this though. the original game already has a warning about the content of the game, but i can't help but feel like they're going to add some context warning like this too.

either way, no matter what bloober team does with the remake it'll never be as good as the original. i don't think it's possible to retain the game's unique feeling any other way. they've already said they are modernizing the combat and the camera so there's probably other shit they are "making better" too.

goodbye, nfs unbound review.

basically, the driving is good (2nd to nfs hot pursuit remake) but a lot of the stuff in the game ranges from questionable design decisions to really annoying shit. the weird car effects and graphic choices aren't that bad if you use the cloaked effects. play it with the voices and music muted if you're going to play it at all.

i haven't beaten it yet but i've played enough to judge it. like 6/10, maybe 6.5. fun enough to keep playing, but with compromise.

I'm starting to learn that the AI in NFS Unbound is pretty bullshit. I started playing the game on Easy just so I could learn how it feels and I've never been able to increase it because I'm getting 2nd or 3rd place pretty often. Even when I'm racing really well, I'll have someone right on my ass who is able to overtake me and then they're gone. And this is on EASY mode.

Right now I can't get above 4th in a race even when I'm playing near perfectly and have a better car than any of the other drivers. It's just pretty much impossible to keep up with these racers, they don't make any mistakes and seem way faster than me even when I'm using NOS.

Might have to retire this one... But I'm pretty close to the end so I want to try seeing it out. It's just starting to get frustrating. Feels like it's based on luck at this point, on whether they'll hit some traffic that spawned in front of them or not.
