@SnugSmug dude I also didn't play the w3 DLC. It took me over the course of like 2 years to beat the base game and I did not want to keep playing it xD

Happy New Year everyone! Here's to making 2024 the best it can be.

The 2024 Roadmap has been finished! This is the rough outline for how long things should take and when they will be worked on. You can expect progress to continue throughout the year following pretty closely to this outline.

As you can see, voice acting and tileset swapping are notable parts of next year's development. When the beta releases, that is when things such as forum threads and the game page on itch.io will go up. After that, it's all bug fixes and balance adjustments until it's all finished and can be set for a release date, hopefully some time in 2025!

I'm looking forward to sharing this game that I've worked on for so long with you, and this year will certainly be full steam ahead to get that to happen as soon as possible!

#2024

浮かれすぎの自分を、何年も何年も、恥ずかしく思い出して。
それくらいに、それほどに、なんでだろう、君が近くに見えた。

@rosey i played it at launch and mostly enjoyed it. when my friend played it after watching edgerunners we were talking to each other about it and it was like we had played two different games lol.

i kind of want to get back to it, because the updates are pretty exciting, but there are just so many other games i need to play that i can't justify playing the same one twice especially if it's going to take quite a bit to complete... even if it's been highly updated.

i also don't care that much for phantom liberty. i thought i would but i just kind of don't.

@matrix yeah the steam game awards are total trash. I'm looking forward more to the /v/ ones

@Mr_NutterButter the pso2 tuber I watch recommended this one recently. I'm not gonna watch it because I unfortunately barely watch anime, but it seems interesting.

@Mr_NutterButter from my experience, taking a couple different ones, they cut out the lows but they also cut out the highs. Everything seemed more dull. My normal range of emotions was squashed. That's why one of the side effects of anti depressants are, ironically, suicidal thoughts.

Obviously my emotions vary more than the normal human, but I still think there's a reason why we have the feelings we do and it's better in most cases to train for a different mindset/outlook and to identify what is keeping you low so you can work to remove it. It's not just a thing you can visit a therapist and be done with either, it may even be a constant struggle throughout your life, but that's part of your human condition and I think it's good to learn to be at peace with that.

Sometimes there is a legitimate lack of serotonin or whatever in someone's brain and in those cases I think some meds might be necessary, but it's also extremely important to have a good support system while you're on them and perhaps even moreso when you're coming off them. In addition to everything else I mentioned, of course.

@hindudindu and the AI will get you a steak. it might not be cooked exactly to your liking, but it'll still give you a steak.

another small tears of the kingdom problem

the fucking lost woods. the FUCKING lost woods, dude, i swear.

play breath of the wild, you have to carefully go through them in the right way without being wrapped up in the fog. this was cool, had mystique, and there was actually a method to it. this follows other zelda games that have lost woods, where it's always a little confusing but there is a way to get through it if you pay enough attention.

tears of the kingdom? nope, fuck that. it is literally impossible to get through the lost woods. you have to literally go underneath them through the depths and then that's it. stupidest shit ever. no mystique, no way to "solve" them, no looping areas or sound puzzles, just go underneath them 4head.
