@nihilvt i guess it all depends on why the person is addicted in the first place. If it's the nicotine, then there are patches and gum. If it's the oral fixation, there's the gum and no nic vapes, or even just toothpicks and stuff. I know for some people it's just something they do because it's a habit to take a cigarette break, just to get out for a second. In that case just find another excuse or take the smoke break without actually smoking, just some time to decompress for a few minutes or whatever. There are several steps you can take for each of these methods too.

Damn, second night in a row where I'm just not tired in the slightest. Can't sleep no matter how hard I try or what I do. I feel more awake than I have at any point for the past few days. How can I be so lucid and feel so good on so little sleep? Just not when it matters, like at work where I'm a total zombie. As soon as I get home it's just back to being energetic again. It's got everything to do with my mood I'm sure. I have so many things at home that I'm so excited about and I think it just sets that spark.

It's also probably the fact that I see my lack of sleep as a problem to be solved and, rather than relax which is what I should do, my brain goes into that mode where I get an absurd amount of motivation to fix something. I can't quiet down for long enough to actually allow myself to relax and I can feel it physically too, like there is an electric current running through my veins.

Video game graphics already look good enough. They have for the better part of the last decade and we are at the point of diminishing returns. Imo, the thing that AAA studios should be focusing more effort on is physics simulation. That will help the game worlds feel much more immersive, by exponential amounts. I want to see reactive water, cloth, dirt, sand, trees, grass, everything.

It seems like sometimes, even people whose job it is to translate stuff miss it because they don't have a picture or all the context (that happened with some pso2 promo material a couple years ago). Not really sure why it happens but it does. I'm just waiting for some loony to find out that Google translate refers to zelda as "he" on the Nintendo website and go off saying she's trans or something.

I also see it in the comments on rule34 and gelbooru sometimes lol. Not really sure what's going on there. The gender will swap back and forth and it's hard to make sense of it. It'll be like "I will kiss her and rub against his vagina" or some shit.
