@Mr_NutterButter well yes, because religion is not an immutable characteristic. You can always change what you believe, and you can change how you practice. You do still run into the issue though where there are like a shit ton of different sects and they all believe slightly different things. I would say it is in good form to not immediately jump to conclusions based on someone's beliefs (or your predefined notion of their beliefs) but rather their actions.

This isn't really a gacha for liberals either, because they do it all the time too, mostly with Christianity.
