The people who won't code a Mario Kart Wii PC port from scratch are complaining that somebody else is doing it with AI instead.

Porting over a game to PC that can already be emulated for free, for free, is probably the least egregious use of AI imaginable. I welcome AI ports with open arms, provided they don't suck. But people are acting like it will suck BECAUSE it is using AI. Crazy thing... Human made code can suck too. I know. Wild.

@kernow it's funny to see everyone call her major because the first time I saw her (I don't even know where) she was referred to as motoko and now whenever I see her called major I get thrown for a little mini loop lol. Must be kind of like how it is for the guys who played FF7 back on the ps1 with Aeris.

@LukeAlmighty Storage is simple to solve if you have a real phone that has expandable storage. But yeah I hate it when everyone is like "omg install the app for taco bell, you can get free drinks every 10th time you go in" fuck no dude I'll just go and pay for my drink and enjoy it instead of having to keep tabs on yet another app on my phone.

When Duolingo updated their Japanese lessons a little while ago it put in a bunch of words I hadn't learned yet and never taught them to me so it's been dissuading me from continuing... I've gotta get back on track but like, why do that?!

@xianc78 it's not for the pc port, but there is a mod called Amped Up for the original ROM. it adds an incredible amount of stuff. it even has an experimental 60fps mode.

@tomie i made this 5 years ago and things have arguably gotten worse since
