is it just me or does HDR always look washed out?

have you guys seen this flux keyboard thing? it looks insanely cool. i'm not too sure how typing would actually feel on it, but i guess it can't be any worse than a laptop keyboard. the ability to display specific things like hotkeys is pretty nice and i like the modular add-ons.

the downside is that it's a whopping $450, definitely a luxury item but still really cool.

i'm hoping to see more about slitterhead at the game awards. i'd also like to see basically anything even semi-major from nintendo and some news about all the new silent hill stuff, even if it's just so i can complain about it.

i really like horror with a lot of intrigue and symbolism. resident evil has never really done it for me because of that, since it mainly boils down to "fucked up thing happened and you have to deal with it now by shooting everything." not to say that style of horror is bad, i'm just not as keen on it.

that being said i will be playing costume quest for spooky month xD

Seems the PlayStation CEO is retiring next year. I don't expect anything to change going forward, but this dude has made many whack decisions, especially recently. Under his leadership, Japan has been completely disrespected, so I hope for that to change at the very least. The temp CEO after his retirement is Japanese, so while I don't think anything will change with him I do think there is a higher chance of getting another Japanese person in that chair.

i also wish that they would ask the event staff if the hours for events were okay before just accepting them. who the fuck wants to get to the building at 6 AM for an event when the event from the night before goes until 12 AM? i don't feel bad for the manager for one second and it's obvious why they are shutting down at the end of the year.

i just realized that with my event job, if there are 2 events on the same day, i only get paid hourly so in effect i only get paid for working one event. that's kind of fucked up, i wish they would just pay me a cut per event.
