@lanodan Doesn't that expose your IP address and therefore your actual location to everyone, though?
@hj ENOUGH WITH THIS SHITTY MEME!!!
@PhenomX6 @ryo I'm afraid that they might pull a Twitch and start enforcing off-site conduct (if they haven't already). I can see gamedevs here on fedi (non SJW-side) or /agdg/ getting their games removed just for being on those communities if not also because of the opinions espoused by those gamedevs.
I find it ironic because I remember the early days of itch.io, they said they will allow anything that didn't contain illegal content. They even supported crypto at one point, but I don't know if they do anymore. But now it just seems to fallen to the cancer of the modern indie game community.
CC: @beardalaxy (currently making a game that will be published there)
@beardalaxy @matana My older brother wasn't around for the NES, but he had an SNES and N64. I never knew why he never got a GameCube but my dad got one around 2005 but for different reasons (he's a teacher and he got it for school dances and other parties).
@cee But even then, I would still like to visit Bir Tawil just for the experience of actually visiting a no-man's land. I would probably camp out there, shoot some guns, launch some fireworks, and draw obscene pictures in the sand large enough to appear in satellite photos.
@beardalaxy @matana I grew up on hang-me-down consoles and even when I had a GBA when it was still relevant, I mostly played my older brother's GB/GBC games on it.
@cee I don't know if there is an aquifer underneath it. And any seeds I bring will have to go through either Egypt or Sudan before I get to there. Probably could see what kind of seeds you could buy in Egypt or Sudan first.
If we could just terraform Bir Tawil we can have one place for anarchists (of all stripes) without the interference of states. There is also a no-man's land between Croatia and Serbia but a minarchist libertarian is creating his own micronation there (Liberland).
@cee No. I don't live in a desert. I was just wondering because I've been heavily researching on colonizing Bir Tawil (the last plot of land on Earth, besides Antarctica, not claimed by any nation).
