@ambos @beardalaxy @ItsSkyDragonz @coolboymew @Binkle Bombs are for ground targets. There are tanks, turrets, and boats.
I switched to C# back in 2017 because Python (which I was using previously) was too slow but I didn't want to deal with manual memory management. I wasn't able to make a full game in C# until now due to college though.
I plan on using C++ and SFML for my next project however. I don't think it's safe to use C# for long because it's completely controlled by Microsoft and God knows what they will add to .NET and Mono in the future, despite them both being open source now.
@icedquinn Does Godot not have built-in networking?
@digdeeper I guess so.
@beardalaxy @Binkle @coolboymew @ItsSkyDragonz The reticle is actually for bombs.
@ArdainianRight COVID was planned. Look up Event 201.
@coolboymew @beardalaxy @ItsSkyDragonz @Binkle I never played the NES version of Xevious. The plug-n-play system I had had all the original arcade versions. I think I actually wore down the fire button from pressing it too many times though.
@beardalaxy @Binkle @coolboymew @ItsSkyDragonz
>pressing the button every time i want to fire instead of it just being automatic gets really tiring!
Yeah. In hindsight, I should've made it automatic. I wanted to include power ups, so I made one a machine gun which is why it's not automatic. I don't usually play shmups but now I noticed that most of them have autofire by default. I was mainly inspired by Xevious because I grew up with one of those plug-n-play consoles that had classic Namco arcade games.
@beardalaxy @LukeAlmighty That looks like a tranny face.
But seriously, fuck header files. I'm glad newer languages got rid of them. There is literally no reason for them to exist.

It's not that bad as it looks though. I do know C++. It's just been a while.
@admin It's not the Democrats who rig the elections. It's the shadow government who scripts them. All (s)elections are scams. All politicians are puppets. I've already written an article about it.
