I know there are some good transgender and homosexual people out there, but the mob and the media are really damn loud and have twisted the "community" way too far for it to be recovered. I suggest leaving the community entirely and stop using the label if you don't agree with even the tiniest part of it. So many inexcusable things happen all the time that it isn't worth tying yourself to that kind of toxicity.

Would you continue sticking with a religion if you didn't believe some of the things they preached? It's a very similar thing. Individualize yourself.

I have done this plenty of times. There is no law saying that you are stuck in a community when you become a part of one. You can still believe in whatever you want, or enjoy whatever you want, without being beholden to nasty people who want you to behave just like them or get the axe. This goes for ANY so-called "community" and ANY group of people. Sure, it might suck for some time if you have built yourself up on the backbone of such a community, but you need to have the courage to retain your integrity otherwise your soul is going to be ripped from you.

@ItsSkyDragonz I believe the Earth is round, but most people who attempt to debunk flat earth, always use the "appeal to authority" fallacy or are just dismissive of conspiracies in general.

This podcast explains my point. The guy is not a flat-earther, but he is talking about why Joe Rogan's attempts at debunking flat earth arguments are weak.

I'm not a flat earther, but I'm tired of globe earthers using appeal to authority to debunk flat earth.

I'm starting to think that Pieville is just a parody instance. Nobody can be that retarded.

@icedquinn @LukeAlmighty @lanodan Humans have been mining since the dawn of civilization. I'm pretty sure those like the Rockefeller's made that shit up just to lobby for legislation. Just like with the myth of oil being a "fossil fuel" with limited amounts.

@lanodan @icedquinn @LukeAlmighty
>Government doesn't even fucking matters for this.

Oh yes it does. There are plenty of laws restricting the mining of materials, especially coal mining.

Okay, maybe it won't make everyone self employed but it will lead to more opportunities.

@lanodan @icedquinn @LukeAlmighty You might want to learn how the GOVERNMENT restricts said supply chains and that 3D printing is still in it's infancy yet is improving everyday.

@icedquinn @LukeAlmighty @lanodan Automation and things like 3D printing have the potential in turning everyone into a self-employed entrepreneur. It could lead to a return of cottage industries.

@duke @okuu @Loded-Diaper That land-down under schizo randomly chimes in to threads just to spill out his garbage. Most of the time, it's either painfully obvious, just flat out wrong, or not even on topic.

@icedquinn @LukeAlmighty @lanodan Or you can create or invest in an automatic toilet cleaning system.

@dx Yeah, owning nothing, living in a pod, and eating insects would be so awesome.

@duke Better idea is to make a "pie bot" IMO. Auto reply to every pieville post something about pie and asking them what kind of pie they like. Could also include recipes for pies. Avatar of a granny holding a pie. I like this idea.

@okuu @duke Not all of them are atheists. Some of them are pagans.

I never noticed the similarities between Alex Kidd and kid Goku from Dragon Ball. Jeremy Parish makes good videos and usually manages to keep his moronic political opinions out of them.

@charliebrownau Codeberg is a pun on iceberg. They have an iceberg as their logo.
