@bonifartius Stux is the biggest virtue signalling admin on the entire fediverse.

>Avoid capitalists spaces. You have no right to free speech on private spaces
<"Capitalist" space suddenly claims to be pro-freespeech
>DEFEDERATE FROM THREADS!!! Instances that allow anti-LGBT rhetoric have no place in our "public space"

@wowaname He blocked us for "untagged NSFW content", which doesn't make sense because our instance requires NSFW content to be tagged. Maybe it's from the pedo raid we had on here back in 2022.

someone tell that cunt this isn't a numbers game?

Imagine this being the reason to finally block Threads, instead of concerns about EEE. Not like Cuckerberg is actually going to allow freezepeach anyway.

@PurpCat @tadano
>It's not about accuracy, it's about the "aesthetic"

Yeah, but I'd argue that the texture warping was part of the aesthetic.

@PurpCat @tadano You can't accurately replicate PS1 graphics without disabling floating-point calculations during the rendering process. Personally, I think it's easier to replicate N64 graphics (just blur the textures) or Sega Saturn graphics (use quads instead of tris).

@Gargron You won't see this message because the instance you administer suspends me for disagreeing with one (1) leftist on an entirely different instance.

Those reviews are entirely accurate.

@wowaname Of course you can always download a new browser, but them bundling a non-botnet browser by default show that they actually care.

>aside from that what do you dislike about llvm
Nothing really. I never used it. I'm pretty sure it's not bad, I'm just concerned about compatibility issues as GCC seems to support most C++'s features.

OpenMandriva seems to be ever better than I thought. In addition to being anti-woke, they try to make their distro independent to Big Tech as possible. They even ship Ungoogle Chromium as the default browser. This might be my go-to recommendation for Linux distros, but I need to try it for myself.

My only beef with it is that the download page seems to be confusing, and I'm not sure about using clang instead of GCC.

This one's my favorite: https://akkoma.dev/AkkomaGang/akkoma/pulls/553

Along with the MRF modification, that I spent an hour debugging, because I was writing an MRF from scratch to know if someone unfollowed me. Yes, Akkoma prevents all Undo, Delete and Block activities from going through the MRF pipeline, but forced unfollows go through, because they are actually Follow activities with a Reject coat on them.

Or the forum post where a user was asking how to change the instance favicon and sent a Soapbox link in the body.

But enough of Akkoma drama.

@wowaname Are you in need of an email address or is someone blacklisting non-Big Tech email addresses?

tech illiterates: do NOT fucking speak over me when i know what i'm talking about

@PurpCat @tadano There are few that actually use legacy game engines. See Ion Fury. But I guess the 2.5D engines are much easier to work with than the later Quake engines. Though id tech 3 (namely it's ioquake3 fork) has been a popular choice for FOSS FPS games for years now.
