@Moon It would be a close knitted community where everyone knows each other and your neighbors are your second family. That's the only way it could be possible.
@realcaseyrollins @jojo @p @eloquence There's BitBacker but it seems like they're down atm.

@realcaseyrollins @eloquence @p In order for that to work, I think you need to use a monthly crowdtipping service like Patreon or Subscribe Star as I think one-time donations won't be enough.
Oh lord.
It looks like the 'Open JS Foundation' has got their priorities in a twist.
Let's start off with the elephant in the room, and something they have blown up on their homepage: they support AMP, a 'standard' by Google that has one goal, which is to centralise the web.
Any and all content using AMP, if the user if using Google Search, is actually served from Google's servers.
Even worse: Google are pushing to make a standard that allows them to hide the fact that this is being served from Google, by playing silly buggers with domain names.
So if you Google 'cats', and one of the results uses AMP, you might get 'sent' to cats.com, but actually you're using Google's servers.
Even more surveillance, and centralisation of information.

Moving on to my next grudge:
The 'Open JS Foundation' doesn't actually support the Open Registry, which is an attempt to put Node package management back in the hands of the people.
Open Registry is open source. NPM is not.
Open Registry is hosted by the people, for the people. NPM is not.
Open Registry is looking into decentralisation. NPM is not.
It strikes me as ODD that this foundation chooses to support an obstruction to the freedom of the internet, meanwhile not paying attention to something that could change Node package management forever.
It scares me that foundations that are SUPPOSED to be serving as the pinnacle of JavaScript development, is choosing to support Google in their mission to destroy any remnants of the open web.
---
I've emailed them, but have had no response yet. It's a pretty hot topic, and it looks like Google have got their hooks in well this time.
Don't worry, I'll always be fighting for the open web.
If you have 2 minutes, PLEASE email the 'Open JS Foundation', and voice your anger about this support.
See contact details here: https://openjsf.org
Remember: everyone that helps fight for an open web is helping to ensure that their children and grandchildren are not censored, or robbed of personal data online.
Thank you.
@jbauer This is a hard one. I would say C++ but I don't program in it that much. I have a love-hate relationship with C#, but I don't recommend it outside of game development. Ideally, I would like to program everything in C, but I don't have the patience.
@tuxcrafting The UI is written in Java.
@essie Get him on here. We don't want these people to fall for scams like Gab and Parler.
@lady19 Regulations is what creates monopolies not prevents them.
@matrix This means that Asians get priority over whites even though they outperform them.

Absent fathers and broken family units are the root cause of virtually all social problems in the modern world. It's obvious too... But nobody wants to admit it because it upsets people. https://twitter.com/ZubyMusic/status/1280154797891559431 #Zuby
