@ChristiJunior I only included him because he literally said "I understand why people use them, but I don't get why you would to that to me." And he said that if you don't like them, just mute the audio until the ad is over which is basically ad-fraud.
I personally don't mind ads. The only ads that bother me a targeted ads or ads with audio/video on otherwise static webpages. I think sponsorshit is worst because you have these e-celebs endorsing shit products/services.
Nobody has picked Linkara (as of this writing). Does he still give a shit about ad-block? I don't think he's relevant anymore though.
@amerika @rasterman @Marko It's pretty much only good for that, but I have mostly stopped paying attention to e-drama because it's not worth my time.
@neko That's just a generic Super Mario Bros. clone.
@neko If it's video games then it's excusable. FOSS games suck.
@rasterman @amerika @Marko I don't give a fuck about lolcow/e-drama autism. Though sometimes it can be good infotainment.
@basadeskaiser @natsock Just watching some of his videos, it always feels like he is just shilling Microsoft/Intel/Nvidia.
@Duine @ChristiJunior @Aether The whole capeshit "renaissance" is probably the biggest cancer in the modern film industry.
@rasterman @amerika @Marko The whole upvote/downvote cancer is why I wish we can go back to forums.
@beardalaxy @LukeAlmighty @applejack Yeah. That makes sense. I heard that the SM64 decomp was largely created because of pannenkoek analyzing the game's mechanics and trying to beat the game without pressing A. His friends used a disassembly of the game to analyze the mechanics and I think that later evolved to a full decomp of the game.
It also makes sense given that Super Smash Bros. Melee has a full decompilation project while SSB64 only has a disassembly right now. Melee is far more popular in tournaments and thus has been analyzed more than 64.
Apparently, you can write N64 homebrew in Rust.
