@matana I'm just tired of people having unrealistic goals and not committing to them. You are not entitled to your dreams.

If you are working a minimum wage job because you aspired to be an actor, athlete, etc, I have no sympathy for you.

@icedquinn No, but I really don't have that much to put on it. I really haven't been working on programming projects in my free-time since high school.

They have skill quizes and I keep scoring in the top 30%, even though I'm a complete idiot.

My Dad forced me to get a LinkedIn account. I already hate it.

@makeworld Let's hypothetically say you're a web developer, running a local web server.

Now any ad network (or attacker that can influence DNS requests) can target your local web server.

Either way, if an attacker can coerce your system to looking up a specific record, your attacker can now target your local computer.

Remember, folks, if your DNS-based adblocking mechanism returns 0.0.0.0 or 127.0.0.1, attackers can use that to their advantage.

Either return NXDOMAIN or NOERROR (aka, no results) instead.

@ItsSkyDragonz I've played Kirby's Adventure. It was good, but didn't really sold me on the series. I probably could give Kirby Superstar Ultra a try.

@Soy_Magnus 100% agree. I decided few years ago to not focus too much on material goods but prioritize personal achievement.

Reading/learning history, practice bagpipes, enjoy nature, stay happy with your partner without luxurious lifestyle, meeting new people, etc.

So many things you can do without the need to burn your salary. My only money waste are alcoholic drinks 😅

@ItsSkyDragonz I feel like I should get more experience with the series before playing it.

@lanodan Well, it's the tool that works for me right now. Admittedly C# is a guilty pleasure for me because I know how frowned upon it is.

I honestly would use Go for gamedev if it's GC was more suitable for it. I just don't want to fuck with memory management and dangling pointers.

@lanodan MonoGame is not an engine. It's a framework. It's an open-source implementation of XNA. I use it.

I used to use Pygame, but Python is way to slow.

@lanodan But you can make asset flipped Unity games and make tons of money.
