@xianc78 99% of the cryptocurrencies are a scam, mostly because there's almost always either a corporation, or a personality, or a government, or some other centralized dev team behind it.
Then there's bullshit like dev taxes, ridiculously high transaction fees, network being centralized (because they're just too much of a hassle to set up and/or requires ASIC), smart contracts, or something else.

That's why Monero is perhaps the only crypto that's not a scam.
Maybe Haven could potentially be good too, but I haven't looked into it too much yet.

@waltercool I hope any store who does this fails. Luckily, I never bought anything from Tesco.

@a7 Jesuit doesn't equal 56 when you add the numbers up. Likewise, Society of Jesus doesn't add up to 54 when you add the numbers up.

By the way, here are some common Gematria numbers if you want to do your own Gematria research.

@Alex Chrono Trigger had a genderqueer character back in the mid-90s.

@charliebrownau @ryo I don't think it should replace cash or barter, but it's useful for things like renting virtual private servers or funding FOSS projects.

@Mr_NutterButter It makes a good entry point for normies, but doesn't go in depth. There are other organizations with similar power like The Bilderberg Group and The Club of Rome. The Great Reset is really just part of the UN's Agenda 21 which has been created back in 1992.

@ryo Both of those are wrong. Crypto is good. Web3 is a scam.

gamedev

I did my first full play-through. The game is beatable, but I still need to tweak some levels. The final boss is also piss easy. I should probably increase the health.

Hm I wonder what I should take out and mess with Linux on next, and I need to clean my mess too imo

@nerdman @beardalaxy @ryo RollerCoaster Tycoon is probably the only thing closest to it (made by one guy and entirely in assembly), but he relied on others for art and the game was published by a third-party.

Yeah, I know that Alex Jones is controlled opposition, but still.

@ryo It was the first major indie game. It was released back in 2004 as freeware. It's an action-platformer with adventure elements. Not the official site but has all the info here.

His story is summed up in this video.

@ryo Do you know who this guy is? He's the creator of CaveStory. He made it all by himself starting in his late college years and finished it in five years while having a family and a full-time job in the process.

And he did it all from scratch. He wrote the entire game in C++ and DirectX.

How the fuck was this guy able to make a full-length video game from scratch while also dealing with college, a full-time job, and raising a family, all without going through a mental breakdown?
