I found this AngelFire site that catalogs plug-n-play systems including their specs and even methods on accessing their debug menus.
I'm surprised that nobody has made emulators for these things yet. At least any that I've know of.
@opal I don't think I ever went to the Cartoon Network's website. I rarely even watched Cartoon Network as a kid.
@ryo For a second, I thought the actual article said "Ministry of Death" and "covAIDS lethal injection".
@opal The only Shockwave game I remember playing was some multiplayer tank game. There were also some on Nick.com but I can't remember any specifics.
@beardalaxy I never played Zombi U, but that mechanic seems like every Souls-like game out there except that you start with a new character. My "permadeath" system is mostly inspired by the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games (which are the only Pokemon games I've ever played). Granted, they were casual roguelikes, but I think they've made the best compromise.
>jump to your last save point
Yeah that another thing that puts me off from doing permadeath. If the game is on PC, you can easily savescum even if there is only one save slot, you can still copy the file into another directory and then paste it back in when you die. The only way to prevent that is to only allow cloud saves but that requires me to run a server and have the game be inoperable when I can no longer run it.
@bleedingphoenix @hachi Or worse, give it to Goodwill where someone else profits off of your own stuff.
@RupertvonRipp @ArdainianRight That's what I was about to say. The IRS hates it because a lot of people don't put it on their taxes. Megacorps hate it because it causes them to lose potential customers and cuts off potential middlemen. And commies hate it because they think it will lead to ancapistan.
@ArdainianRight Apparently this is another anti-capitalist argument. People aren't willing to help their neighbors for free because they constantly have to make money to survive, but this is all bullshit.
>making money outside your day job is exploitative
This is literally the worst far-left hot take I've ever seen.

Marc Morano of ClimateDepot.com went to the COP27 Summit and did an investigation. He exposed that they are using the same COVID lockdown strategies for climate change.

>highly infamous deleted scene in cars where lightning McQueen blew through a railroad crossing
I have two copies of that film and neither one of those has that scene cut out. Was it cut out from later copies?
