@matana And PSIV is the best one. I'll keep this in mind when I create my Phantasy Star spiritual successor.

@matana Actually I've checked and PSIV makes a white, screen-close transition for random encounters like here.

I've added locked doors. Probably should create a better tile for them, but all tiles are placeholders (assuming I publish this game; this is merely me just getting used to object management in C++) as most sprites are from Zelda I and BS Zelda.

@matana PSII was slow and clunky for me. (spoiler alert, PSIII is even worse). PSIV was the smoothest and I don't remember that many flashes in that one outside of battle transitions and healing tiles.

Both PSI and PSII have remakes for the Playstation 2. Only in Japan but there are fan translations out there. A lot of people hate them though because they look like Flash or RPG Maker games.

democracy is when everyone gets to vote and if they vote for the wrong thing we just hold the election again until they vote for the right thing and if they don't vote for the right thing we just find a loophole that allows right thing to win even if it doesn't get any votes

I've added keys, which can be used to open lockdowns that haven't been implemented yet.

ludum dare #gamedev progress:

player model/animations pretty much there, there's code to smoothly blend the animations and make the gun arm both lag a bit and also avoid clipping the body by adjusting the arm

@adrint @lunarfox There's nothing wrong with starting your own commune as long as you are not forcing other people to do it.

@lunarfox
>We divide our work equally and share our income from the businesses we collectively own.

So they are still working within the capitalist system, but the income is shared throughout the entire commune. You are free to do that under a capitalist system. There is nothing anti-capitalist about it.

@beardalaxy They are both similar in the fact that both were glowie-ops.
