GameLiberty is down, so I have to upload here.
Now that my Spy Hunter clone is complete, I am working on a platformer. I decided to make it a cross between VVVVVV and MegaMan. There will be enemies to kill, but instead of jumping, you change gravity. So it's basically a Metal Storm clone. But right now, all I have is the player moving left and right and flipping gravity.
I'm using CaveStory sprites as placeholders because I like my characters and tiles to be the same size, and Quote carries a gun.

@gabriel What do people normally do when selling Linux hardware? I assume they include a URL to the source code in a manual.

Silly question: you decide to gift/sell someone a used laptop running something like kubuntu, what would be the best way to ensure you're also providing the source code for the #GPL software that's on it?
I am assuming gifting someone a gnu/linux machine isn't a GPL violation, but I'm not sure exactly why...

Thanks to efforts by volunteers Nosamu and bai0, the Internet Archive's flash emulation just jumped generations ahead.
Mute/Unmute works. The screen resizes based on the actual animation's information. And for a certain group who will flip their lid:
We can do multi-swf flash now!
A pile of previously "broken" flashes will join the collection this week.

@ItsSkyDragonz I suck at Mega Man, but maybe. I probably won't implement any complex shit the series is known for though, but I do like how levels are played out of order, so I don't have to bother creating gradual difficulty.
@Tadano Isn't Wario Land more Metroidvania, though?
