They just have to buy every game in their favorite series even if they know it's shit.

@PurpCat I feel like the speedrunning community was the one that really brought transgenderism to the entire gaming community thus causing gamedevs to pander to them.

Literally, I learned most of the transgender terminology from GDQ.

You'd expect that most FOSS drama would be about projects getting bought out by not-so-good companies, the PM adding malicious features and not backing down on it, or choosing to use a bad dependency, but no. It's always about pronouns, "casual ableist language", or the project accepting crypto donations.

DVDs are a different story, though you can rip them, albeit illegally due to DMCA making it illegal to circumvent DRM, but it's impossible to enforce.
