Decided to call my game Refactored Depths. The name is a mirror reference and a reference to the randomly generated levels.

A public reminder for Muricans about what free healthcare means.

I just ordered an eye checkout, and it will not only still cost me some money (although quite insignificant), but more importantly, I have to wait for more then 4 months hoping I don't go blind in the meantime.

@wowaname @Alex I'm talking about something that can auto generate music. I don't know music theory.

@Alex I just want a quick way to compose video game music without bothering someone else to do it.

>ChatGPT is actually a great music composing tool. Just ask it to geneerate SonicPi files and they sound like real music.
Yeah. It composes 5 second loops that are suitable for an Atari 2600 game if the instruments were swapped with beeps.

The UK farmers are protesting against changes to the inheritance tax, which will force tens of thousands to sell off land, most of which will be bought by property developers and private investors.

@Mr_NutterButter @beardalaxy The difference between someone like Chris Chan and these grifters is that Chris Chan was a lolcow from the start. People were drawn towards him because he was gullible and easy to troll. Even without his Internet presence, it is unlikely that Chris Chan would have ever had a normal adult life. He would probably either be living off of welfare or putting lids on boxes.

The culture war grifters, on the other hand started out as political commentators (with some having online careers before then) and people were drawn to them because they were looking for answers and leaders, but it all devolved into lolcow culture due to purity spiraling and in-fighting.
Sure there were people like Mister Metokur or people on KiwiFarms who were most likely only ever in it for the drama, but the fact stands that they were there to create some movement (unless they were planted by the feds for some psyop).

@lanodan I only had an access to a desktop (with no administrative access) and a shitty netbook. I did learn PHP in high school, but that was through shared hosting.

@lanodan
>That said I'm primarily a network dev, not like a multimedia dev where piles of math and hand-written parsers could apply.

It seems like I'm in the opposite situation as you. I mostly learned 2D graphic stuff because I never felt the need to write any network related stuff and I didn't have any access to servers or networking equipment, but I wish I did because it would've probably help me get a better job.

@lanodan Are these coding problems helpful at all? I kind of regret not doing that much programming during my teenage years.
