@matrix I have a devout Muslim friend from the Gulf. Married (arranged, but they’ve known each other since they were kids), with two kids (he’s my age).

When he came here to visit he straight up asked me “where are all the Europeans!?!?” (he was dropped off in the “immigrant” area of the shitty).

He said that he felt very sad that Europeans don’t believe in themselves anymore.
