The insane overreaction to the concept of "ick" was mainly just from the most feminine name for the concept they could think of.

But, now, that the topic is cold, It's obvious that the moment of spontanious and total attraction loss due to a total incompatibility demonstration is... real.

And I am kinda pissed, that the term got bad rep even before women could learn about the complexities of the topic
