@Mr_NutterButter plus, it's fun watching israel face the ramifications of their actions, just like ukraine. i mean, i'm someone who sides with the vikings so you can pretty much glean my outlook on war from that.
@Mr_NutterButter i'm no fan of muslims. at a basic religious level, they're worse and more barbaric than jews are. however, our main threat atm are the jews, who have been eroding our culture subversively for a long time. anything that will get more people thinking about that is a good thing. we can deal with another holy war later.
@xianc78 same way you can have hours long IRL conversations. you talk about one thing initially and that reminds you of another thing, which reminds you of that story, etc.
there have been times i've talked on the phone with my mom for 2 hours. i've talked to people in my home's entryway after they said they were going to leave for longer than that lol.
sometimes you just get talkin about stuff.
@Yokappa THE MAGIC CONCH
@alke happy birthday to one of my favorite artists :D
@Indigo @applejack @LukeAlmighty haha that's funny, i was talking to luke yesterday about that exact same thing. there's a good chance i'd have a gender identity crisis if i was an actual zoomer instead of just a borderline one.
i think there are a lot of societal/cultural issues that people like to cover up with pretty dressings or diversions instead of looking at the actual truths because they can get uncomfortable to address.
@Indigo @applejack @LukeAlmighty yeah stuff like that is why i'm not further on the progressive scale probably. i'm legally pro-choice but not morally. i think adults should be able to do whatever they want to themselves and with each other, but only as long as it isn't in public and doesn't introduce some legitimate safety concerns (for instance, smoking indoors or drinking and driving). i also think that treating things that aren't normal as if they were is really psychologically damaging, for instance being trans is way more trendy than it ought to be and i think it really fucks people over. i view that sort of thing from a very humanist angle, rather than one of raw freedom. i'll acknowledge people's right to do what they want, but that doesn't mean i have to support it in any way. people don't always know exactly what is actually best for them, and that goes 100x more for children.
@LukeAlmighty @Indigo @applejack i pretty much draw the line when it comes to kids.
@Kerosene @ChristiJunior gacha girls would win lmao
@LukeAlmighty @Indigo @applejack nah that makes sense, the progressive movement is actually very focused on liberty. it just doesn't come across very well because a lot of those social justice types aren't genuine about it, they want liberty for themselves but not for anybody else. if the test included a question that was like "i want my ideological enemies to have less rights" or something then you would see a lot of those people no longer being aligned with true liberty.
@Indigo @applejack @LukeAlmighty this might be definitive proof that the whole "left vs right" culture war thing is a scam ![]()
