looked up the bill again, it's a bahraini dinar and it's actually worth $2.35 USD atm.

i've got coins from germany and canada as well, including a 1962 canadian penny. and then there's a 2 shekel israeli coin lol.

@graf i've got a little coin/bill collection, probably not worth much but they're cool to look at. someone gave me a bill from some middle eastern country once, it's worth like a tenth of a penny here.

Metroid Prime looks good, very faithful to the rest of the series.

The Zelda game is meh. Not the kind of game I want to play. Seems like even the 2D Zelda team is leaning into gimmick mechanics that let you break everything now. There probably won't be dedicated dungeon items again. It'll be a good game for people who are interested but the gameplay isn't up my alley. I wish Zelda actually fought directly with magic, would have been a lot cooler.

Everything else in the trailer I couldn't give two shits about. Donkey Kong is really good if you haven't played it yet but honestly just get a secondhand Wii copy and emulate the damn thing. You'll miss out on 3DS levels but that's whatever.

today in godot learning, i accidentally skipped an entire video on the tutorial and still managed to implement the stuff needed in the next video, plus some extra sauce.

@InvincibleSugar @msmonako people will take other artists' work and then put text over it it that is super over the top pedo stuff, usually in a way that is creepy imo. and it goes along with "goon culture" with the way it is like egging the viewer on or attempting to "hypnotize" them to keep going and taking it further.

this definitely isn't that bad and it's the artist's original work, but having a chat overlay that covers the artwork saying things like "she's underage" and "dm for sexy little girl videos" really hits the comparison on the head.
