@puniko people question themselves when you show them facts, their emotions are what get in the way because people don't like to be uncomfortable. you can only hope they get over it one day and realize the truth.

@LukeAlmighty this and always estimating your paycheck to be lower so that you'll budget better and be happy when more money comes in. i've only been disappointed after looking in my bank account a few times lol.

When I was a kid, I remember one strange scene in Star Trek, where Scotty said the dumbest line I've ever heard.
"I always multiply my estimate by 2, so I can finish it faster then expected".

And now, as an adult, I finally get it.

@matrix i always got the feeling that high refresh rate phones were meant for 2 things: videos and ui. gaming on a device that small with passive cooling at that high a frame rate is an impossible task.

@Mr_NutterButter the only other video game dream i remember having was when i got lost in minecraft for like 5 hours, went to bed, and was still lost in minecraft. woke up sweating from that one lol.

i played like 5 hours of half life a couple days ago and had a dream i was in half life. that doesn't happen to me very often.

@LukeAlmighty the charge blade thing is super interesting, wonder why that happens. the "enemy AI" thing is definitely just player detection not scaling with framerate very well.

the game was obviously made for switch and then ported to PC so i can totally see it having problems when you increase the frame rate like a lot of console ports do, but the charge blade thing is just weird AF considering that's a bug on console but as soon as you get to 60FPS it actually fixes it.

@FutaFanatic @fluffy @Minty fuck really?? you wouldn't happen to have pineapple passionfruit soda there would you? literally impossible to find here.

@FutaFanatic @fluffy @Minty it's the best but sadly a dying breed, i can only find it like once a month when i go to the store and only like a single case of 4.

@LukeAlmighty i'm guessing it's some shit like invincibility frames and active weapon frames are out for X amount of frames and that doesn't change no matter what your frame rate is?

got to try out my zombie system tonight and it was pretty fun! we actually played for over 6 hours, whereas a normal d&d session is 3-4. few quirks here and there to smooth over but overall it went pretty well :D
