@matrix when I tried to do 4x1 batches at 512x512 it wouldn't let me, and I tried a 768x512 and it grinded my video player to a halt lol.

@matrix I have an 11gb card. You're supposed to be able to do it with 4gb or even on the cpu, though. The guide talks about it.

the thing is that kiwifarms wasn't its own host like these other huge tech giants are. neither would get in trouble with the law, but they would get in trouble with whoever is hosting them... unless they own the servers and have nobody to answer to.

seems like nighttime shots are a little harder for it. i noticed it was definitely harder on the upscaling. either loss of detail or visual artifacting so i went with the former.

@Corfiot it's the result of AI studying heaps upon heaps of faces and then correcting what other AI thinks is faces.

stable diffusion is the first AI i've tried that's been able to get damaris looking even somewhat close. for some reason, it doesn't recognize that the knit sweater is supposed to be blue and makes it green instead. either way, it's cool seeing what she might look like if she was real.
