@johnbudd1350 @elftummy well, that one guy who said he should be the saint of leatherworking has a dark sense of humor
@LukeAlmighty i actually don't find bayonetta very attractive, personally. her look from the third game is nice but it's only because i like the hairstyle. she generally looks like a liberal college professor.
@matrix because there is no fucking way anyone made 20 million sentient species from scratch.
@matrix how the fuck are there actually 20 million sentient species in star wars? are they counting like, real life sentient species as well?
@mizuki @LukeAlmighty @kura everyone here in the US says that the minimum to tip is 12%. If your meal is only like $15 that's not a whole lot of money. if my waiter was a dick i won't tip them at all, but if i liked them i'll normally leave $5.
@LukeAlmighty idk how it is elsewhere in the world, but in the US, waiters get less than minimum wage in order to incentivize them treating the customers well so that they get tips. if you're a crusty cum sock to everyone, you won't make money.
it keeps prices down for the restaurant too.
the amount that people generally say is the minimum to tip, 12%, isn't that expensive either. waiters actually end up getting paid pretty well if they do a good job.
honestly i would rather have it like this, than getting paid minimum wage and making a commission percentage, because with getting tips you know it's because people liked having you as their waiter but with commission it's just because you convinced them to buy a product.
@Gatitasecsii it's..... it's not worth it.....
@Ryuujin @BlinkRape the only thing i didn't like too much about alan wake's story was that it would drag pretty often. to its credit, though, near the end of every play session it managed to reel me back in.
@xianc78 @Binkle @coolboymew @ItsSkyDragonz gotta admit, i suck ass at this xD i can't get past level 1 lol.
i'm glad that you were able to finish it :)
it definitely could benefit from fullscreen, button mapping, and a way to get back to the title screen. i think i might be a bit better at it using my left hand to steer and my right hand to fire (like wasd movement and mouse click fire or something). that would be stuff not for a test game though, ya know, the polish that you'd want on an actual release!
the reticle, imo, should be a bit smaller and higher up on the screen. you should generally be looking as forward as possible to see where enemies are coming from, so putting it closer to the player's vision would be better i think :)
also, i know some games go for a different style of shmup so maybe it's just because i'm so used to touhou but pressing the button every time i want to fire instead of it just being automatic gets really tiring!
@BlinkRape @Ryuujin i play them mostly for gameplay, and the kind of gameplay i like is usually very simple in concept and very fast. i can enjoy a good story-based game, though.
@Ryuujin @BlinkRape the only one i've played is 3, and i played it co-op so it was pretty much just a fun schüt game.
