although it's funny, the fact that these diseases were around at some point means that the earth was indeed hotter than it is right now 48,500 years ago. it's almost like climate change is cyclical and it just happens, or something.

@matrix that's the love they have for you, not necessarily the love you have for them. you can have multiple NPCs with really high love scores but you can only ever set 3 love interests max. i can't remember what stat it goes off of, but one of your stats has to be high enough or something.

Tbh though, I've never personally had any issues with Newegg. Bought so many parts there and refurb'd stuff in the past. Willing to give it a shot if I can't find anything else. All the stuff on ebay and Amazon is either more expensive for a worse product or stuff that has specs I just wouldn't be able to work with.

@charliebrownau battery is fine, same behavior with it unplugged. Dunno about the bios chip.

@charliebrownau all I need is access to my docs so I could technically run it off my phone or print off a bunch of stuff for the DM screen, but it would be a little bit painful haha. Though perhaps not as painful as just p&p.

@keisuke yeah I'll have to open it up and kind of reseat stuff to see if it works, but the problem is probably much worse noe. I thought it was an issue with the bios firmware so I installed that, reset the computer and it didn't turn back on. Usually it only takes a few attempts to turn on so that's why I thought it was some weird bios bug. But you know, not restarting to update the bios is pretty much a death sentence.
