Well I spent 2 hours of BG3 making a character. Not because there's so many options, but because there are so few. I could not get a human character to look good so I went with a half elf ultimately, and even then it was a bit of a struggle.

@Mr_NutterButter souls like is just an action rpg that shares common elements with dark souls, such as the use of a currency you lose when you die that you can get back, limited saving, and an intense focus on memorizing attack patterns while using iframes to dodge stuff. I'd say the aesthetic/setting partly plays into it as well. I guess you could even say a souls like game is a marriage between the roguelite and action rpg genres.

@Mr_NutterButter dude i hate genres so much i never know what to call anything. i've never heard diablo referred to as an action rpg until now lol, but apparently that's what it is xD i've always seen it as a crpg. when i hear action rpg i think phantasy star online, or final fantasy 15/16.

@LukeAlmighty accepting refugees can be fine if you have the infrastructure for it and they are of a compatible enough culture. idk what your country is like but mine certainly isn't capable of that.
