@picandor @LukeAlmighty they're EIGHT POUNDS that's pretty heavy. i wish i had enough money to buy one just to see wtf it was lol

@picandor @LukeAlmighty if it is then i doubt it does a good job. the sound will just roll off of them instead of getting trapped like it does with foam acoustic paneling. especially if it's just solid metal, it would likely be worse than bricks. the shape of the walls and them not being parallel is way better for acoustics.

now if we're talking about soundproofing, then metal is dense as fuck and it's good for that, but you'd think the train being underground would be enough to the point where a bunch of metal slabs aren't going to do much for that.

@picandor @LukeAlmighty yeah for just a 4x8 lol, that shit better be able to withstand an avengers movie finale

@picandor @LukeAlmighty actually yeah, looking at it closer if it was outward the shadow would be on the bottom instead of the top, huh?

@LukeAlmighty i just took this concept but applied it to a wall with a bigger design lol

@LukeAlmighty it wasn't ruined by her, it was ruined by him being a cuck lmao.

But try to speak it and you're out on exile
Why follow reason when you follow denial?
And you float, down you go

We're going broke while they're making a dime on our lives
All our lives"

@Pawlicker with 6gb of vram good luck playing much after like 2020

@SpurgAnon like 1/3 of alan wake 2's budget was marketing also lol.

i think games are bloated, which leads to dev teams being bloated, which then compounds further on itself with tons of completely unnecessary positions. and the companies feel the need to add "woke" stuff into their games because they need the money they get doing that to fund their bloated, shitty games. which makes them more shitty.

the fact that lethal company outsold modern warfare 3 bodes well though i think. i can smell the AAA... err i mean sorry ubisoft.... AAAA games industry starting to show its cracks.

@xianc78 not that i'm necessarily defending dk64 lol, it's definitely one of the early examples of quantity over quality but there is still a *lot* of quality there especially in relation to the slop that comes out these days.

@xianc78 ehhh, it's also on emulator which, especially for n64, is still not perfect even today.

plus i'm sure that there are things going on with the expansion pak and the memory allocation that would eventually lead to crashing just because it isn't there.

save states in a lot of games can also lead to weird issues. i can't think of any specific examples off the top of my head but i've had difficulties with using save states causing things to get fucked up before.
