@pernia @coolboymew @fluffy As an ancap, I think there are too many anti-competition laws like copyright and patents which have no place in a true capitalist society. Microsoft is notorious for using patents (which requires a state) to stunt competition. I don't know that much about Adobe, but I remember hearing that the Flash format was patented for a while.

@pernia @coolboymew @fluffy These companies literally work with big governments in their mass surveillance and censorship programs. They will never fuck them over unless one of these governments goes through a reformation.

@pernia @coolboymew @fluffy All the major tech companies are moving to that model. It should be no big surprise that Adobe is doing it as well.

@coolboymew @mangeurdenuage GIMP is compatible with Photoshop plugins and PSD files. The only think that's holding it back is the user interface.

@coolboymew What Adobe product are you using? There is almost no reason to use any of them these days.
