@matana elaborate? have you already installed pirated games on your sysnand? if so, then an emunand is pointless and you're going to have to stay offline forever on your sysnand. if you have a backup of your sysnand before you put anything on it then you can roll back to it and then get an emunand for piracy.

emunand can be useful if you're making some drastic changes, there is a switch mod that adds a complete menu overlay, there are overclock settings you can mess around with, etc. so having a separate environment could be nice for some use cases other than just piracy.

hmm, seems that even with the second fan in my CPU temps have gone nowhere in the grand scheme of things

i'm going to try reapplying thermal paste and see if that does anything. if not, i guess i just need a bigger cpu cooler? :S

I'm anti gun control and legislatively pro choice btw. I think it is amoral to get an abortion if a birth will not cause serious harm, but ultimately if it is outlawed people will still do it but in far less safe ways, which is one of the gun arguments too. The right to bear arms is still waaaay more important than the ability to get an abortion.

There is a big difference between a RIGHT and just the ability to do something without impedance. You don't have the right to be able to drink alcohol when you're 21, you have the ability to. You have the right to bear arms and to speak freely in the US because it is SUPPOSED to be guaranteed, not to be infringed on in ANY way. Same thing for citizens having the right to vote, although that is a civil right, not a human right. Abortion isn't even a civil right, it is an elective.

i think i scared the shit out of a black woman yesterday on accident at the grocery store.

i was on a mission to buy some tweezers so i subconsciously had my hands in fists and was wearing fingerless gloves, striding around like i owned the place. i turn the corner into the next aisle and she's standing right there with this shocked expression on her face just staring at me. i'm trying to like, not be racist or whatever so i stare a little bit longer instead of breaking eye contact, and then look over at the products standing like a foot away from her and she just takes off. not a full on sprint or anything because she has a cart but you can tell, she was gettin' out of there lol.

i do look pretty intimidating normally so i can only imagine what i looked like then xD
